About 40 people gathered on the lawn at 300 Church St. for the grand opening of Jennifer Pritzker’s bed and breakfast. “I’m glad you’re here for the opening of Stone Porch B&B, and I hope you’ll all come back as guests,” said Ms. Pritzker.

“I’m very grateful that we’ve been able to work with the City and our neighbors. This house was built in 1889, and I hope it is still standing in good shape in another 100 years,” Ms. Pritzker added. She has overseen extensive renovations to the former single-family house, located across the street from Dawes Park.

Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl said the house “was a beautiful house before [the renovations]. It is much more beautiful now. All the preservationists in town thank you.”
