Evanston Township High School’s Fine Arts Department presented Homer’s ancient Greek poem “The Odyssey” on Nov. 13-15 in the school’s Little Theatre.
A 23-member cast of freshmen and sophomore students told the story of King Odysseus’s epic, 10-year journey home after the fall of Troy. The play featured Jackson Zimmerman as Odysseus, Maeve Gavagan as his faithful wife Penelope and Sophie Civetta as his stalwart son, Telemachus. The play, a dramatization by Gregory A. Falls and Kurt Beattie, was directed by Anne Lefkowitz.
