Applications are now available to be part of the City of Evanston’s 2015 summer art festivals on the lakefront and the Starlight Concert series.
This year the Ethnic Arts Festival will be held July 18-19, and the Lakeshore Arts Festival will be held Aug. 1-2. Both festivals will have free admission and take place in Dawes Park Sheridan Road at Church Street.
The summer Starlight Concerts series will continue to take place in various park locations across the City from June through late August or early September.
Artist vendors interested in selling their artwork at the 30th Annual Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival and the 43rd Annual Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival may apply online atzapplication.org.
Applications for food vendors may be downloaded at cityofevanston.org/ethnic and cityofevanston.org/lakeshore. Individuals and groups interested in performing during the festivals may fill out a form located on those pages. Forms to apply to perform at the Starlight series are located at cityofevanston.org/starlight.
Artist vendors who prefer to submit a paper application for the Ethnic Arts Festival may download a form at cityofevanston.org/ethnic or request an application through the mail by calling 847-448-8260.
The concerts and festivals are presented by the City of Evanston’s Cultural Arts Division and are partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
