On Feb. 9 ballots went out to members of the Evanston Township High School community, asking for input on the new ETHS logo and school seal. By that evening, 2,000 votes had already been cast. Apparently there is interest in the new ETHS branding and signage project that kicked off this fall.

As a first step in the branding process members of the school community were invited to participate in a brief survey to provide feedback on the current ETHS logo designs and overall brand. More than 1,500 students, parents, staff, alumni and community residents responded. Since then, ETHS has worked with Evanston-based Glantz Design to create new logo designs that incorporate the feedback received in the brand survey. Various groups of students, staff and parents have reviewed dozens of logo concepts to help narrow down the options to two final design options for the Willie Wildkit logo and a design option for the school seal.

Members of the school community are invited to vote for their favorite ETHS logo concepts here at Voting is completely anonymous.

Voting will close on Feb. 20 at 11:59 p.m. Respondents can share the survey with friends and join the discussion on social media at #VoteETHS.
Final logo designs will be shared this spring.

Next step: A survey will be distributed to collect feedback on school directional signs, signage and maps that exists in the building and around the high school campus.
