While ETHS’s “Hamlet” follows the classic, ingenious plot – a young man becomes distraught with the task to avenge his father’s murder by the hand of his uncle, the new King – it has been adapted to fit a post-Civil War era (with rifles, swords and all). The collaboration of a crew and cast of 46 from all grade levels and a guest performance by a theatre faculty member makes for a high-caliber production. The show, in rehearsal for seven weeks, opens at 4 p.m. on Feb. 12. Other performances are at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 14. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors and can be purchased either online at ethstheatre.com or at the door.                                                        Submitted photo
