Evanston community members are invited to attend the Housing and Community Development Act Committee’s public meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 7:30 p.m., in Room 2402 of the Morton Civic Center, located at 2100 Ridge Ave., to provide any comments or feedback on the City’s 2014 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). A copy of the report is currently posted online at cityofevanston.org/caper.
The 15-day public comment period for the CAPER opens Monday, March 2 and closes at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Comments may be submitted in person during the public meeting on March 10, by email at cdbg@cityofevanston.org, or by mail. All mail submissions should be addressed to Sarah Flax at the City of Evanston, Room 3101, 2100 Ridge Ave., Evanston, IL 60201.
The 2014 report discusses the City’s accomplishments in meeting its community development goals using federal grant funds provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs.
