The City of Evanston will host the 3rd annual Evanston Procurement 101 workshop to help local businesses and contractors learn how they can do business with the city’s large entities. The free event aims to increase local business opportunities in Evanston.

The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, Friday, March 27, in the Parasol Room (4th Floor) of the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave. Registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., followed by the workshop from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Entities giving presentations at the event include the City of Evanston, Northwestern University, Rotary International, School District 65 and School District 202. Participants will learn about procurement processes, anticipated projects and bidding practices.
