Voting affords each of us a tremendous power, freedom, and opportunity in determining which elected officials will best shape and implement policy for the betterment of our entire community. In thinking about this school board election Jennifer Phillips stands out. Jennifer is running for the Evanston/Skokie School District 65 school board, and I urge you to vote for her.
Jennifer Phillips is an outstanding candidate for the D65 School Board. Jennifer is a forward thinking leader who is whole-heartedly committed to the betterment of public education in Evanston and the children and families it serves. Jennifer possesses a unique and refreshing blend of skills and talents which encompass both hard and soft competencies. Within moments of meeting Jennifer, her intelligence, smarts, and savvy are observant. She is easy to talk to and listens well. She has an ability to ask questions and reframe issues in order to make improvements and promote change. Already she’s proven herself to be committed to working hard for District 65 by spearheading the group District 65 Math Matters. She is constantly seeking out best practices and she isn’t stuck in the status quo, or afraid to question. With energy, with persistence, and with a coherent and deliberate process, Jennifer Phillips will work for all of the children and families of District 65.
