A spectacular evening awaits theater-goers as Evanston Township High School presents the Tony award winning, Broadway musical “Pippin!” On April 24 and 25 and May 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m., 58 ETHS actor/singers, dancers and gymnasts will take the stage in the main auditorium, directed by Tom Sollers.
Student circus artists, in collaboration with the Evanston-based Actors Gymnasium, will capture the magic of the big top. And, working with Choreographer, ETHS Alum, Broadway performer, and NYC resident MenCa, the ETHS Pippin dance corps will truly dazzle.
Beyond the circus motif, the musical story follows Prince Pippin, the son of Charlemagne, on his quest for life’s meaning.
Performances begin at 7:30 each evening.
Reserved-seat tickets are $12 and available online at www.ethstheatre.com. Tickets are also available at the ETHS box office starting at 7 p.m. each show night. Located at 1600 Dodge Ave., the ETHS main auditorium is wheelchair accessible. Parking is recommended in the lot on Dodge Ave., directly across from the auditorium entrance.
