The Merion, in conjunction with the Evanston Symphony Orchestra, will host “Musical Insights,” a free lecture program open to the public on April 24, starting at 1:30 the Crystal Ballroom of The Merion, 1611 Chicago Avenue, Evanston.

The program features a presentation by Lawrence Eckerling, music director of the ESO and David Ellis, general manager of the ESO about the upcoming Swan Lake/Mozart concert on Sunday, April 26 at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall in Evanston. A highlight of the program will be video excerpts from a danced version of “Swan Lake,” illustrating the music to be performed in the Symphonic Suite.

The program lasts about an hour and concludes with a question-and-answer session and free refreshments.
