Back for its 16th year, It’s Thursday, Let’s Dance! has added two more dates and will be making its way around downtown to two different locations throughout the summer.
Each week will feature live music and dancing from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with each Thursday spotlighting a different dance style ranging from Latin and Swing to Rock and Roll.
Feel free to grab a seat and enjoy the music or join the party for a night of dancing! The only outdoor dance floor north of Chicago will be setting up at the 909 Davis St. Plaza on June 11th and 18th and then making its way to the plaza at 1603 Orrington Ave. for the duration of the series.
Attendees will enjoy live music while also being able to indulge in dinner and drinks from one of the many surrounding restaurants. Attendees can also take advantage of the extended Purple Line Express, leaving the Davis stop at 8:07 p.m. and running express without stopping from Howard to Belmont.
This is a free event and all ages are welcome. For complete details visit www.downtownevanston.org.
