Valli Produce International Fresh Market, a family owned and operated full service supermarket since 1977, will open its newest location at the Evanston Plaza at Dempster Street and Dodge Avenue, in the space vacated by Dominick’s Finer Foods.
A soft opening is planned for July 22, said City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz last week. A spokesperson for Valli Produce said “we want to make a positive impact to the food selection available I Evanston creating a family atmosphere and a sense of community that our customers can be proud of”.
Valli Produce International Fresh Market will offer more than 250 produce selections, a wide variety of imports from all over the world, homemade Italian sausage, Chicago-style roast beef cooked in house, a sliced-to-order Deli and sub-sandwich department, a Sushi bar, an extensive wine selection, craft beers, plus homemade Gelato and more.
