Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre’s second play of its Summertime Season, continues through July 26 in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St.
“The Vagina Monologues,” the Obie Award-winning play written by Eve Ensler, consists of a series of soliloquies, each dealing with the feminine experience. This moving play is told both comically and poignantly by three racially and culturally diverse women.
Ms. Ensler took the interviews she conducted over a period of years with women who had a story to tell, important stories that took a subject that was forever placed on the “Do not talk about list,” to the “How can we not talk about it list.”
Performances are 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets, $12 in advance are available at fjtheatre.com; tickets at the door are $17; senior and student discounts are available.
