The City’s fifth annual recycling fair took place without any apparent hitches on July 11 in the back parking lots of Evanston Township High School. Cars – more than 1,416 of them between 8 a.m. and noon – lined up along Dodge Avenue south of Church Street, and Public Works staff directed drivers to the proper lane for recycling electronics, shredding documents or recycling other items. For none of these activities did drivers have to leave their cars.
