Shoppers, get ready to hit the sidewalks of downtown Evanston and the Chicago/Dempster district during The Evanston Sidewalk Sale on July 24-26. Independent retailers and national chains will set up shop with too- good- to- resist deals on the sidewalks of both districts. Expect to find great deals on apparel, shoes, one-of-a-kind accessories and decorative arts, including the best in specialty and hand-crafted goods.
Local artists have been invited to be a part of the action in downtown Evanston. Participating artists will be set up alongside downtown retail locations along Sherman Ave., displaying paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculptures, photography and more for the public to peruse, enjoy and purchase! Artists will display their wares in downtown Evanston on Saturday from 10 – 5pm.
In addition to shopping and art, there will be big games available for free play in Fountain Square! Bring your friends and challenge them to a match of life-sized chess, jenga and scrabble!
