To provide residents with an update on environmental issues, state Rep. Laura Fine, D-Glenview, is hosting a town hall meeting with state Sen. Daniel Biss, D-Evanston and state Rep. Robyn Gabel, D-Evanston, focused on clean energy, ecological and conservation issues. The town hall will be held on Monday, July 27 at the Glenview Park Center, located at 2400 Chestnut Ave., in Glenview, at 7 p.m.
“Despite the current budget impasse in Springfield, the General Assembly recently passed laws improving electronics recycling and protecting our waterways,” Fine said. “Join us to learn more about what has been done and issues we are still working on.”
Legislators will be joined by the representatives from Illinois Environmental Council, Environmental Law and Policy Center, Natural Resource Defense Council and the Sierra Club.
