Club Éxito en el Parque
El pasado 4 de agosto, National Night Out fue celebrado junto con el lanzamiento de recaudación de fondos del proyecto del puesto de bebidas de Club Éxito. Durante todo agosto, el puesto de bebidas de Jarritos de Club Éxito estará vendiendo bebidas de frutas en los eventos de películas en el parque en la ciudad de Evanston.
Club Éxito es un programa para dar a los jóvenes un desarrollo positivo para estudiantes de secundaria. Sus miembros ganan experiencia en manejo de negocios, oportunidades en liderazgo y relaciones de trabajo con adultos profesionales y estudiantes de universidad.
Roberto Ansani, Presidente de Club Éxito 2015-2016, y Ololade Omotoba, un miembro visitante de Nigeria, fueron los gerentes del puesto de bebidas en Penny Park. Berto declaró, “Nos tomó un tiempo para que nuestro grupo sacara adelante este proyecto, pero juntos lo hicimos. Estamos obteniendo experiencias reales sobre como recaudar fondos con un pequeño proyecto para empezar como este. Ololade regresará a Nigeria en agosto. Él planea estar en contacto con el programa a través de la tecnología hasta que regrese el siguiente verano. Él dijo, “Mi buen amigo Daniel Frederick me habló sobre el programa, y yo también quería unirme.”
Club Éxito se está preparando para su tercer año. Las registraciones están disponibles ahora para todos los estudiantes del grado 9 al 12. Las juntas serán en los sábados programados en Northwestern University o la oficina de Latino Resources.

On Aug. 4, National Night Out was celebrated along with the launching of the Club Éxito/Success Club fundraising beverage booth project. Throughout August, Club Éxito’s Jarritos Beverage Booth will be selling the fruit drinks at City of Evanston Movies in the Park events.
Club Éxito is a positive development youth program for high school students.
Its members gain hands-on business management experiences, leadership
opportunities and working relationships with adult professionals and college
students.
Roberto (Berto) Ansani, Club Éxito’s 2015-16 president, and Ololade Omotoba, a visiting member from Nigeria, were the booth managers at Penny Park. Berto said, “It took a while for our group to pull this project together, but we did it. We are getting real-world experiences about how to raise funds with a small start-up project like this.” Ololade will return to Nigeria during August. He plans to remain connected to the program through social media until he returns next summer. He said, “My good friend Daniel Frederick told me about the program, and I wanted to join too.”
Club Éxito is gearing up for its third year. Registration is now open for all students in grades 9 through 12. Meetings are on select Saturdays at Northwestern University or the Latino Resources office.
