The Rev. Michael Kirby was installed as pastor of Northminster Presbyterian Church on Sept. 20. He began his ministry in June, after being selected as the 16th pastor to head NPC since it was founded in 1923.
“I’m both excited and energized by this new call,” said Rev. Kirby. “Evanston is home now and it presents unique challenges and opportunities for me and for Northminster as we prepare for its second century on the North Shore. The women and men of Northminster have deep faith and a deep commitment to being a force for good in our community, Chicagoland and beyond.”
