The annual Pumpkin Patch sale for the Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association was held on Oct 10, for the first time in Independence Park.

As it has for 24 years, Coldwell Banker donated all 700 pumpkins.

The event raised more than $3,000 for ESCCA, which each year provides a full wardrobe of clothing and shoes for more than 600 District 65 Evanston/Skokie children in need. Clothing assistance services are performed efficiently and discreetly, with the dignity of the families in mind.

Currently, the inventory of large sizes, particularly sizes 14-18, is very low. Anyone who wishes to donate gently used jackets and snow pants may drop them off at any District 65 school or at the ESCCA bin behind the District 65 administration building at 1500 McDaniel Ave. Monetary donations are always appreciated. Anyone wishing more information may email info@escca.org.
