ETHS Students Present ‘Tom Sawyer’

Freshmen and sophomores at Evanston Township High School will present “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” on Nov. 12 and 13 at 4 p.m. and on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the ETHS Little Theatre, 1600 Dodge Ave. Tickets for the afternoon performance are $3 for students and $7 for adults. Tickets for the evening performance are $5 for students, and $7 for adults. All tickets must be purchased at the door.  

The play, adapted from Mark Twain’s novel, includes classic scenes of the fence painting and when Tom and his friend Huckleberry Finn attend their own funerals. A cast of 17 freshmen and sophomores is directed by Anne Lefkovitz, assisted by ETHS junior Marjie Erickson.
