The senior meal program at the Levy Senior Center and Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center is offering a new lunch option.

The senior meal program allows local residents over the age of 60 to enjoy lunch at either center for a suggested donation of $4.50, although no eligible seniors are turned away if they are unable to contribute. Residents under 60 may also purchase lunch at the Levy Center or Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center for $6.50.

Lunches are offered at both locations from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Levy Center’s Garden Café, 300 Dodge Ave., now offers a deli bar with soup and a selection of salad or a sandwich on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hot meals will be served on all weekdays. At the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center’s Wisdom Café, 1655 Foster St., hot meals will be served every Wednesday, with the new deli bar option available the last Wednesday of each month.
