At dusk on Dec. 10, civic leaders and community members joined the 23rd public celebration of Hanukkah, lighting the 10-foot high menorah in Fountain Square. Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights and Freedom, represents the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness and freedom of conscience over oppression.
