School District 65 is hosting a series of events for families of incoming kindergarten students. Children must be five years-old on or before Sept. 1 to register for kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year. Families that have students entering kindergarten in the fall are encouraged to attend.

In January, District 65 will host several Kindergarten Information Nights. Staff members and teachers will share information about the kindergarten experience in District 65 and provide details on the registration and magnet program/school application process. Representatives from District 65 departments will also be on-hand to share information about nutrition services, health requirements, school-age childcare program, and other programming and services offered to students and families. There will also be time for questions during each of the sessions.
