“While it’s an honor to serve as President this year, it is a distinct privilege and pleasure to recognize the sincere commitment by our member-businesses to embrace Evanston’s rich tradition of social conscience and to work collaboratively to improve and grow opportunities in the community,” Mr. Pepa said.

Working at his side, the 2016 Board officers include next year’s President-elect Jim Schermerhorn, vice president and commercial real estate broker at Schermerhorn & Company; Treasurer Ingrid Stafford, associate vice president and treasurer of Northwestern University; and Past President Michael Corr, senior vice president of commercial banking at First Bank & Trust.

Also being inducted at the Annual Celebration will be new Board members Dale Bradley, financial advisor with Bradley Investment Center; Sandy Chen, proprietor of KOI Fine Asian Cuisine and Lounge; and Scott Miller, portfolio manager at Romano Wealth Management.

In addition to recognizing Board members, the Annual Celebration will honor the Businessperson of the Year, Community Leadership Person of the Year, and Nonprofit/Public Service Person of the Year.
