Temporary traffic control plans will be implemented on Oakton St. and Dodge Ave. to allow ComEd to install underground electric utilities.
- Starting on Monday, February 22 and finishing on Friday, February 26, ComEd contractors will be performing work on underground facilities within the roadway located directly east and south of the Dodge Ave. and Oakton St. intersection.
- Starting on Wednesday, February 24 and finishing on Wednesday, March 2, ComEd contractors will be performing work on underground facilities along Oakton St., between Wesley Ave. and Elmwood Ave.
Work will cause some brief road lane closures, sidewalk closures, and temporary no parking zones in areas along the route between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appropriate traffic and no-parking signs (if necessary) will be in place 48 hours prior to the start of work.
