Open Arms Solutions, home of Embrace by Open Arms in-home memory care program, is presenting the free program “Becoming an Alzheimer’s Whisperer: A Loving and Gentle Approach to Manage Challenging Behaviors,” for professional and family caregivers on Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3. Nurses and social workers can earn 1.5 hours of CEU credits.

Keynote speaker Verna Benner Carson, PhD, is a nationally known author and speaker who developed the award-winning “Becoming an Alzheimer’s Whisperer” program. Dr. Carson, associate professor at Towson University and President of C&V Senior Care Specialists, Inc., is the author of eight books and over 80 published articles on psychiatric, dementia and spiritual issues in healthcare.
