More snow is expected beginning overnight and ending early to mid-day tomorrow. This will impact tomorrow mornings rush hour with moderate snow expect to fall during that time.
Current forecasts indicate about 1” to 2” of snow for the Evanston area. Light snow should begin falling after 11pm and increase in intensity around 4am. The majority of the snow is expected between 4am and 11am Thursday. Temperatures will rise overnight to a high of 34 degrees tomorrow around 2pm.
In anticipation of this snow, Public Works has applied anti-icing materials to the main roads today. Additional staff has been added to the overnight crew to assist in managing the storm.
