Westminster Place and Ten Twenty Grove, the Presbyterian Homes communities located in Evanston, announced they will host retirement planning seminars on March 9 and 10 that are free of charge for Evanston-area seniors and other members of the community.

The seminars will cover the various aspects of security—financial, physical and health care—as they relate to retirement. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about some of the risks and benefits associated with retirement living options, and better understand what Medicare covers.

An expert in planning for this critical stage in life will lead each informational forum, which will be followed by an interactive discussion and a question-and-answer session that all attendees are invited to join. Light refreshments will be served.

These informative events, part of a series that Presbyterian Homes will host at each of its Life Plan campuses in Arlington Heights, Evanston and Lake Forest, are part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to helping Chicagoland-area older adults better understand their retirement options and take charge of this ever-important phase of their lives.

“Peace of mind is a way of life for the residents,” said Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Bob Werdan. “But we realize that most older adults and their families need further education on how they can realize a secure retirement. It is our privilege to offer sessions like these to help with that process.”

The public are invited to attend one or both of these events. Seating is limited! To reserve a spot, please contact the community of your choice:
