Community members are invited to join the Evanston Chamber of Commerce on Friday, March 18 to hear from Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl as she delivers her State of the City Address to the community and recognizes the economic growth and vitality of the city.

Mayor Tisdahl will be highlighting the annual Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program (MSYEP). The MSYEP Job Fair will be held at Evanston Township High School on Saturday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Opening remarks will be made by James Pepa, Chamber Board President, followed by a brief presentation by Gabrielle Cummings, Senior Vice President of Evanston Hospital at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Chamber Board Member, prior to the State of the City Address.

The event will be held in the Ballroom of the Hilton Orrington/Evanston, 1710 Orrington Ave. The event begins with networking at 10:45 a.m.; guests will be seated at 11:15 a.m.; and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., to be followed by remarks at 12:30 p.m.
