Evanston Township High School will host “Excellence Through Equity” with Pedro Noguera, Ph.D. on March 14 at 6:30 p.m., in the school auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Noguera is a Distinguished Professor of Education in the Graduate School of Education and Information Sciences at UCLA where he also serves as the Director of the Center for the Study of School Transformation. His research focuses on the ways in which schools are influenced by social and economic conditions, as well as by demographic trends in local, regional and global contexts.
ETHS is located at 1600 Dodge Ave. The auditorium is wheelchair accessible. Guests should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to 6:30 p.m. to find parking and seats.
