On March 25, at approximately 5:35 p.m., the Evanston Police Department received a call that a deceased man was in the basement of a multi-unit building in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace. The man, who was later determined to have a gunshot wound to the head, has been identified as Star I. Paramore, 19 years old, who resided in a unit in the building, said Deputy Chief Joseph Dugan. The Evanston Police Department detective division with the assistance of the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force (NORTAF) are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Last night police said they were investigating the death as a homicide.
