Panelists Cari Levin, Dr. Sharon Johnson, Jill Calian, and Rachael Gross will discuss how to understand dyslexia from 7-8:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Main Library, 1703 Orrington Ave. Ms. Levin, LCSW, is founding director of Citizens for Appropriate Special Education (CASE); Dr. Johnson is a clinical psychologist and pediatric Neuropsychologist with Pediatric Consultation Center; Ms. Calian and Ms. Gross are with the law firm Calian & Gross LLP.  

The mission of Evanston CASE is “To empower parents of students with special needs through support and education, and to advocate for their concerns in the Evanston community.”

Participants will learn about dyslexia, receive advice about neuropsychological evaluations and information about legislation and legal rights. No registration is required for this presentation, which is sponsored by CASE and the Evanston Public Library.
