Perspective Gallery will host Student Perspectives 2016, its fifth annual high school juried photography exhibition which runs May 5-29 at the gallery, 1310 Chicago Ave.

A highlight of Perspective Gallery’s 2016 exhibition schedule, Student Perspectives offers area high school students the opportunity to show their work in a gallery setting.

This year’s juror is photographer Terry Vitacco, a professor at the College of DuPage. Ms. Vitacco has selected 55 photographs from the hundreds of images submitted by students in 20 area high schools. Students will receive 100% of the sales price of any work sold.

There will be an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on May 7; it is free and open to the public. Perspective Gallery is a not-for-profit community-oriented cooperative whose purpose is to promote fine art photography.
