A 17-year old male was shot in the lower left leg while he was entering his home from the front porch in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. on April 21, Commander Joseph Dugan of the Evanston Police Department. The victim said he hear four of five gunshots, but did not see the shooter, said the Commander.
Police found some evidence on the scene and conducted a canvass of the neighborhood, said the Commander. Police are continuing their investigation.
