Evanston Township High School District 202 was recognized by the Illinois Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects Awards Program. The project “Evanston Township High School Campus Improvements” received a 2016 Merit Award in the General Design category.
Industry professionals celebrated the best in landscape architecture at an awards event on April 29. Video highlights of the ETHS campus are available on the website of 3D Design Studio, which worked with ETHS to enhance the visual, social and educational experience of the high school:

Jury feedback on the project included: “This renovation project successfully creates an identity for the high school campus by standardizing site features … with a design style that responds to the history of the facility. It also successfully and smartly addresses some of the design challenges (bike parking, desire path is a trail that becomes an established path) typical of many campus environments.”
