Howard Levy will bring his Musical Worlds Concert to the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge Ave., at 7:30 p.m. on May 21.
The concert, featuring Mr. Levy with Kalyan Pathak, Larry Gray, and Jean Christophe Leroy, will include world music, Afro-Cuban sacred chants, Vedic and Jewish traditions, as well as the music of Bach, original compositions, blues and some free jazz improvisation.
Multiple Grammy-award winner and Evanston resident Mr. Levy is an acknowledged master of the diatonic harmonica, a pianist, innovative com-poser, recording artist, bandleader, teacher, and producer.
