May 15- 21 is National Emergency Medical Services Week, and again this year, residents of The Mather honored Evanston’s firefighter/paramedics by delivering cookies to the City’s five fire stations. Mary Teresi, The Mather’s pastry chef, baked more than 300 cookies, which residents personally delivered on May 17.

Their message, said Mather resident Mareon Arnold, is “Firemen, thank you for being there for us.”
