Dave Stoneback, Director of the City’s Public Works Agency, gave the following report about today’s storm damage.
The City received 0.83 inches of rain earlier this morning along with high winds.
There is one power outage that started at 5:45 AM and has power out to 63 ComEd customers in the 1900, 2000, 2100 & 2200 blocks of Noyes, the 2100 & 2200 blocks of Payne, 2100 block of Grey and 2100 block of Hartrey. The outage is also affecting the traffic signal at the intersection of McCormick Blvd. and Bridge St. by the Ecology Center. ComEd is still scheduling crews to address the issue. Power is estimated to be restored by 2:00 PM today.
There is damage to one tree at 114 Callan that has also damaged a parked vehicle. Forestry is going out to start clearing the tree damage at this location.
So far there has not been any flooding issues received by the City.
