Music, art, and food from around the world drew hundreds of people to the annual Ethnic Arts Festival at Dawes Park on the lakefront July 16 and 17.

The traditional Parade of Nations opened the festival, as volunteers planted flags from many nations around Arrington Lagoon. Performances near the lagoon, like the Tsukasa Taiko Kids drummers, above, gave attendees a flavor of some of the cultures of the world.
