The City of Evanston will hold an open house at the Harley Clarke Mansion, 2603 Sheridan Road, on Aug. 3 in order for groups and individuals interested in the long-term use of the facility to view the interior. Reservations are being accepted from groups and individuals for two-hour time slots between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. An open house for the general public will be held between 3 and 4 p.m. A maximum of 20 people will be allowed in the house at any given time.
The mansion is owned by the City of Evanston and has been closed and secured since the Evanston Art Center moved out in June 2015. Anyone wishing to make an open house reservation may visit cityofevanston.org/mansion or call/text 847-448-4311.
