State Senator Daniel Biss (D-Evanston), along with State Representatives Robyn Gabel (D-Evanston) and Laura Fine (D-Glenview), will host a town hall meeting focusing on environmental issues on Monday, September 12th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Boulevard in Evanston.
“Many of our constituents have expressed concerns recently about the safety of our natural resources and we are excited to bring together this accomplished group of environmentalists to provide updates on pressing topics,” Gabel said. “This town hall will provide an excellent opportunity to share information and ask questions.”
Nick Magrisso and Rebecca Riley from the Natural Resources Defense Council, Jack Darin from the Sierra Club, and Jen Walling from the Illinois Environmental Council will join Senator Biss and Representatives Gabel and Fine in covering emerging topics such as clean energy, climate change, pollinator decline, and safe drinking water.
To RSVP, contact Karen McCormick at Representative Gabel’s constituent services office, either by phone at (847) 424-9898 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
