A new four-story, 47-unit apartment building is under construction at 1620 Central St. The building, which is designed to meet LEED Silver status, is being developed by TJM Development, Inc. RMK Management Corp. will oversee leasing and property management.
The building will contain one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, each with private outdoor space. Residences will measure 601 to 1,297 square feet and include finishes such as nine-foot ceilings, quartz countertops, a key fob entry system, luxury plank flooring, modern cabinets and high-end plumbing fixtures.
Building amenities include elevators, a secure bike storage room, and a 54-stall, climate-controlled underground parking garage. Residents at 1620 Central will also receive a complimentary, one-year pass for either Metra or CTA, as well as a one-year pass for a Divvy bike share, one of which is two blocks from the building.
