The Evanston Fire Department is announcing the retirement of Firefighter/Paramedic (FF/PM) Mike Hasanov, effective Monday, October 3, 2016.
FF/PM Hasanov started his career with the Evanston Fire Department on September 30, 1996 and has served the City of Evanston with honor and distinction for over 20 years.
The Department will hold a retirement ceremony for FF/PM Hasanov on Monday, October 3, at 3:00 p.m. in the Hicks Training Room, Evanston Fire Headquarters, 909 Lake Street.
The Fire Department Walk-Out Ceremony for FF/PM Hasanov will be held on Tuesday, October 4, at 07:00 a.m. in front of Fire Station 3, 1105 Central Street.
“FF/PM Hasanov has been an integral and committed member of the department for over 20 years. He was a traditional firefighter in that he was always willing to go the extra mile by utilizing his skill and abilities as an expert craftsman to improve fire stations, tools and equipment. He certainly will be missed. I want to thank Mike for all he has done for the department and the City of Evanston,” stated Deputy Chief Brian Scott.
The Evanston Fire Department would like to wish Mike a happy and healthy retirement and all the best with his future endeavors.
