On Saturday, October 15, 2016, The Cradle Foundation will host its 22nd annual signature gala, The Cradle Ball. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until midnight, over 200 guests will dine, dance and enjoy a raffle, live and silent auctions – all while supporting and celebrating The Cradle’s exemplary work in family building and family strengthening – in The Ritz-Carlton Chicago’s magnificent Grand Ballroom.
Ms. Kathy Hart, Cradle Mom and co-host of The Eric & Kathy Morning Show on 101.9 fm The MIX, will emcee the evening’s festivities and conduct the live auction, items of which include Dress Circle tickets to the Chicago production of Hamilton. Guests are invited to dance all evening to the music of Rendezvous Music’s Greenlight band, and will also enjoy an intimate performance by the incomparable singer, songwriter, actress and adoption advocate, Jess Godwin.
The Winner’s Choice raffle offers a chance to experience one of three culinary excursions: Italy’s Tuscany region; Ottawa, Canada’s Le Cordon Bleu or San Francisco and Sonoma. The evening will close with a stop in the Cradle Lounge for a nightcap and midnight snack. Tickets for The Cradle Ball are $400 per person.
The Cradle has been building families through adoption since 1923, and leads the country in strengthening families through online education, live workshops and classes, and family counseling. The Cradle Ball gala has raised more than $3.9 million in support of The Cradle’s adoption-related programs and services.
