All women feeling the need for peace and personal renewal are invited to spend a day in a lovely setting with other women seeking answers about their life journey. The Women’s Ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Evanston is offering a retreat, Season’s in a Woman’s Life, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield.

Letitia Suk, long-time Evanstonian, mother of four adult children, life coach, and on-call chaplain at North Shore, will direct the retreat. She is the author of “Rhythms of Renewal and Getaway with God: The Everywoman’s Guide to Personal Retreat.”

Ms. Suk will guide the group as women seek to understand and examine their lives through the lens of their particular season of life. Recognizing that there are different seasons of life, she offers practical tips for moving through each season with grace and laughter.

Ms. Suk raises straight-to-the heart questions especially designed with women’s needs in mind: “What feeds you? What gives you life?” She teaches women to recognize the rhythms of their own life according to the season they are in. She teaches with the wisdom and authority of someone who has learned these lessons in the seasons of her own life.

The retreat will include teaching, fun, personal sharing, and time to meet other women. Lunch is included in the $30 registration fee. All women in the community are warmly invited. Online registration is at  http://www.firstpresevanston.org/events/event-registration.
