The Evanston Art Center (EAC)  at 1717 Central St. welcomes the public to “Works on Paper, From China to America,” an exhibition of works by Chunbo Zhang, and to “Tied and Remnants,” an exhibition of works by Yoonshin Park.

Chunbo Zhang’s Chinese and American background enables her to explore cultural differences in gender, identity and nature. Working primarily in printmaking and mixed media, Zhang creates artwork inspired by daily objects such as home goods and nature to present a subtle evocation that transcends the inherent nature
of the objects. Yoonshin Park’s “Tied and Remnants” pieces focus on pulp, paper, and artist books.

There will be a free opening reception on Nov. 27 from 1-4 p.m. at the Art Center. Both exhibits run from Nov. 25 – Dec. 21. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Mon.-Thurs.; 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Fri.; and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat. and Sun.
