More than three fourths of Evanston’s registered voters cast ballots in the election season that ended on Nov. 8. Of the 48,785 registered voters here, 37,032 voted, and about a third of those – more than 12,000 – voted early at the Civic Center.

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine swept the popular vote here for president and vice president with 32,902 votes. Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence received 2,746 votes. Candidates in tow other parities, the Green Party and the Libertarian Party, also received votes here in Evanston.
