There are four open seats on the District 65 School Board with four-year terms, and one seat with a two-year unexpired term. The Board’s website says, “Candidates must specify this position [the two-year position] on their P-7 Petition Sheet.”
According to the Cook County Clerk’s website, seven candidates have filed for a four-year term: Nicholas Korzeniowski; Lindsay M. Cohen; Sergio Hernandez Jr., Candance Chow (incumbent); Sunith Kartha (incumbent), Scott D. Fishman, and Joseph A. Hailpern.
One candidate, Anya Tanyuvutti (incumbent), filed for the two-year unexpired term. Ms. Tanyuvutti was recently appointed by the District 65 School Board to fill the vacancy left by Jennifer Phillips, who resigned her position on Aug. 31.
There are four open seats on the District 202 School Board, each of which will have a four-year term.
According to the Cook County Clerk, six candidates filed nominating petitions for the District 202 Board: Patricia Maunsel; Gretchen Livingston (incumbent); Anne M. Sills (incumbent); Patricia Williams (incumbent); Russell Kohnken; and Jude Laude.
