State Senator Dan Biss will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on Jan. 17 to update residents on recent developments in Springfield and describe his legislative agenda for the spring.

“We’ll discuss potential paths out of the terrible stalemate in Springfield,” said Sen. Biss. “We’ll also discuss opportunities to advocate with the governor about the direction the state ought to go, and what we must prioritize. And we’ll send you home with contact information for a variety of elected officials and newspaper opinion editors so that you can express yourself anytime you feel compelled to do so. Finally, you’ll be able to connect with other members of our community who share some of the same concerns and want to be engaged during this important period for state and national government.”

The meeting will be held at Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St.
