Through Feb. 22, the Noyes Cultural Arts Center (NCAC) will feature Evanston-based artist Eric Beauchamp’s “High Voltage Pyrography.”
The unique exhibition by NCAC resident Eric Beauchamp, will feature works that include large-format wood burnings that capture the nature and movement of electricity through wood.
Mr. Beauchamp is a custom woodworker and artist with a focus on creating unique furniture and art pieces utilizing new and innovative techniques. Pairing traditional woodworking techniques with science and technology allows the artist to capture the unique behavior of electricity in wood.
An opening reception will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Jan. 13 at NCAC, 927 Noyes St.
